Holiday Historical Church and Home Tour. The Walkersville Historical Society invites you to a community event in Old Town Walkersville on Saturday, December 15th at 4 pm. An easy short walking tour of the four historic churches and several surrounding homes. Step back in time and enjoy roasted chestnuts from an
original 1907 roaster. As you stroll through the quiet town, listen to the carolers perform traditional Christmas carols. Enjoy special events at the churches throughout the evening. The churches and street events are all open to the public and do not require a ticket.

Several families along the tour route have opened their homes to ticket holders. To tour the historic homes tickets are available at A Bloom Florist, Ginger & Spice, Walkersville Supply & Feed, and Royal Chicken; theses business are located in Old Town Walkersville. Tickets may be purchased for $20 a piece; accepted form of payment is cash or personal check made payable to the Walkersville Historical Society. All proceeds benefit the newly formed Walkersville Historical Society.
